Stringbeans in sesame oil

This stringbeans is best as side dish or as main served with rice.


1 kl Stringbeans, sliced 1 inch
garlic, minced
Onion, chopped
Sesame oil
6T soy sauce
3T Fish sauce
1 T miso paste
3T mirin / rice wine
3 T oligosaccharide / brown sugar
1 T toasted sesame seeds
Salt and pepper

Boil water in a pot then add the stringbeans. Let cook for 6 minutes or until tender but still crunchy. Remove from fire, set adide or give a cold bath but this is optional when beans are removed while still crunchy. 

Combine ingredients 5 to 10 in a bowl and mix until there's no lump.  In a wok, saute garlic and onion until transluscent. Add the combined sauce, stir and let boil. Add the beans. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover for 1 minute and remove from fire. 

Serve as cold side dish or hot main dish with rice.
