My Tasty Bellpepper Stirfry with ground beef

Image
I spotted big bellpeppers in a farmer's market in Bacolod so I was able to make this tasty and colorful stirfry. I always dream of a garden filled with bellpeppers but it was really a challenge for me to have a big type as I do not have soil knowledge and no seeds. I have grown bellpeppers but they were so cute. The seeds of these bellpeppers seem to be not mature yet, I am not sure. But it went to my bio trash can to be mixed with the soil for the garden. From my readings, bellpeppers are rich in anto-oxidants and Vitamin C. This stirfry has crunch and sweetness of the bellpeppers. I still have 500g for stuffed bellpeppers tomorrow.  2T olive oil 250g ground beef Celery, chopped salt and pepper 500g  Sweet Bellpepper, cubed 1T sesame oil 1T Worcestershire sauce Heat pan. Saute beef in olive oil. Add celery and stir fry for a minute. Add salt and pepper and cover for another minute. Add Sweet Bellpeppers and let cook for two minutes or until tender. Put off the fir...

Three Cheeses Stuffed Bellpepper

Image
Last Christmas and New Year's eve, we had cheeses for our boards. So the leftover cheeses - the quickmelt, quezo de bola and cream cheese - are in the fridge, and of course, they can still be made into a good dish when paired with my favorite bellpeppers. Of course, many can be added like ground beef, leftover fried or roasted chicken, onions, rice, herbs and canned tuna. Cheeses, grated or chopped Bellpeppers, halved  Stuff the peppers with cheeses then airfry at 180c for 3 to 5 minutes

Chop suey n' crispy noodles

Image
This is the outcome! For chop suey, I used canned young corn and mushroom, ground beef, carrots, potatoes, sayote, bell pepper, cabbage. A little of cornstarch was used to adjust the consistency as the chop suey should not be soupy.   *** For cripsy noodles, I washed the sotanghon or the vermicelli in warm water and soak for a while before draining. Then, I heated a pan until a little smoke comes out of it. I arranged the noodle spreading it out on the pan to get the pan shape. *** For chop suey recipe, pleaes see older posts.
