A welcome to Taytay, a municipality of Palawan, ala Hollywood style.We stopped by this place just after the yearly town fiesta called Passingatan (Our host explained that it is named so because of the shimmering rays of the sun, hence loosely translated as Shimmering or Shining) and we missed the street dancing competition called Paguetekan sa Dalan (Crowding the Road). *** A quick early morning walk and visit to the Fort of Sta Isabel. *** Sta Monica Church, Taytay, Palawan *** The closer image of Sta. Welcome to Taytay, Hollywood Style. We stopped by Taytay, Palawan and tasted the post-fiesta hospitability of our host family. Unang Ipinatayo na yari sa kahoy ng mga misyonaryong rekoleto 1667 himpilan ng kampanyang pangkapayapaan ng mga Kastila sa Paragua (Palawan). Sa pagsusumikap ni Gob. Fernando Manuel de Bustillo muling ipinatayo na yari sa bato at may apat na tanggulan na nagpaparangal kina Santo Toribio, San Miguel, San Juan at Santa Isabel noong unang sangkapat ng 1800.
