Foot and Fire

This is one of the series of colorful birds in the zoo we found  at the foot of the Banal na Bukid in San Miguel, Bulacan. The zoo can be a sidetrip after enjoying the Biak Na Bato river, cave and trekking area. However, as for our visit, it is still closed following the tragedy where the students of Bulacan University were washed away in the river. The beach front. Since it's already low tide, sightseeing is the only way to enjoy. However, we were so happy to find a spot for dipping and swimming. So we did while waiting for our lunch. We paid P300 for the entrance and set lunch.  There is no need to call ahead for this offer they have for the day trippers only. *** The entrance to the resort that whispers to us to come in! *** They have bicycles for rent. It is easy to get lost in the Island of Sipaway... The usual route to the resorts are paved, that is the good news. Snaps of the wildlife in Baluarte brought an immense joy to this computer-all-day and always-in-four-wall creature! Here are the happy moments with the wildlife, especially the moments with real Ostriches, not-smelly-luckily reindeers which are with and without horns, and "dwarf" horses that sure look like donkeys but surely look like no donkeys at all. Hahaha, a zoo-ignoramus I am indeed. Parrot moments... Parrot-lings trio!
