Three Kinds of Salad Dressings

*Honey-Olive oil- Calamansi Honey Olive Oil Calamansi Italian seasoning (dry herbs) salt Put all ingredients in a cup with lid cover.  Shake before drizzling to salads.  *Mango Salsa Ripe mango, cubed Olive oil Italian seasoning (dry herbs) salt Put all ingredients in a cup with lid cover.  Shake before drizzling to favorite salad.  *Quick Thousand Island's Dressing  Mayonnaise Ketchup Italian seasoning (dry herbs) Mix ingredients in a plate. Serve as side with favorite greens.

My two favorite fried vegetable... Dip the Okra tempura and Camote fries in a plain tomato ketchup or mix ketchup with mayonnaise... Wonderful take on a Japanese cooking!

Grilled Bellpepper and Corned Tuna Macaroni

UY THE DELIGHTFUL NOT-BAKED MACARONI... with grilled bellpeppers, cheese, chunky tomato and corned tuna. 500g long macaroni 2T canola oil 6 cloves garlic, chopped 1 medium white onion, chopped 500ml Chunky Tomato with Three Cheeses (Clara Ole brand) 1 cup sweet blend ketchup small amount of water salt and pepper 1 can corned tuna 1 cup cheese sliced olives grilled bell peppers, sliced thinly *Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Grill the Bellpeppers in a frying pan. Slice thinly. Set aside. *In a wok, saute garlic until slightly brown, then add onions and stirfry until translucent. Add the tomato sauce, ketchup and a small amount of water as well as the salt and pepper according to taste. Let boil. *Add the boiled macaroni and mix well. Cook for a minute or two then add the corned tuna, half of the cheese, and sliced olives. More of the okra tempura... young okra sliced in half!!! 2 cups flour with turmeric powder and ground pepper my fave duo... beaten eggs  the batter the batter with the bread crumbs the batter and the okra... not-so-deep fry... my idea of deep-fry up close and personal with the batter mixture About 20 pieces young okra, sliced in to vertically into two 2 cups flour 1 T turmeric powder A dash of ground pepper A dash of fine iodized salt 1 cup bread crumbs 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 to 1 cup water 1 cup canola oil Sweet Chili ketchup, Plain ketchup or homemade thousand islands dressing In a bowl, add flour, turmeric powder, pepper and salt.  Add bread crumbs and eggs. Add water and mix thoroughly.  Add okra slices. In a small sauce pot, add the oil. Fried Eggplant with cheese and ketchup combo

UY 1 kilo eggplants, cut lengthwise into two  and cut crosswise into 6-inch long Italian dry herbs (oregano, basil etc) 1 T ground pepper 2 T rock salt 1/2 t chicken powder (optional) 1/2 cup canola oil for deep frying  Toppings 1/3 of small block of shredded quickmelt cheese ketchup  In a bowl, mix the first five ingredients. Let stand for five minutes for flavors to sit in.   Heat oil and fry the eggplants, at least 1 minute on each side or until well done. While frying another batch of eggplants, spread cheese and ketchup over fried eggplants arranged in the platter. Cheese. Cheese and ketchup.   Place atop the first batch of fried eggplant the second batch and spread cheese and ketchup again. repeat procedure until all eggplants are fried.  Make sure to put cheese and ketchup on top of it all for presentation.  Serve hot in pair with boiled rice... related post. eggplant salad.
