One fine day at NEW YORK's secret nook called Roosevelt Island

Ugggh, I was making this blog entry on Roosevelt Island while in the train from New York to Hamilton, New Jersey and I was not able to SAAAAAAVE it. Okay, let me try it the second time and see if it can be sweeter.  So what's special about this island? Well, I rather choose this over TIMES SQUARE at night with all blazing neon lights and crowds of tourists and locals alike. We call that Tita moment in the Philippines (imagine an auntie sleeping early and no noise please pleas)! Roosevelt Island was formerly a location for an insane asylum and a chickenpox hospital. Now it houses a couple of well-kept charming parks. One awesome reason to come here is because it can be accessed by riding a tramway or cable car which is part of the metrocard or the public transportation system.
