Beaches for Tour C in El Nido, Palawan

Image
Tour C is a must tour. It gives one an overview of the karsts up close and personal as well as enjoy the white sand beach of El Nido. We started the day with photo taking before the giant karst in Secret Beach which also has a small cave. Then we went to the Matinloc Shrine where we had a nice time touring the abandoned hotel and climbing the karst. We then had our lunch at Talisay beach. We then headed to the Hidden Beach where we entered a small entrance in a big karst, only to be welcomed by a small beach inside. After that, we capped the day in Helicopter Island which is also a white sand beach but we did not enjoy the waters as it was windy and the waves are big. This is a picturesque part of El Nido too. Kayaking and Swimming in Tour A, El Nido, Palawan

Image
We took the Tour A in El Nido. We rented the boat for P2,500, mask and snorkel (P75 each) and two kayaks (P700 each). We started the day with the secret lagoon, then the small and big lagoon then the zimisu beach and capped the day in the 7 commando beach where we enjoyed a sunless swimming as it rained on our way to the beach after the zimisu beach but then the rain stopped in the middle. We had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. The last beach serves cocktails but we opted to have fresh buko juice! *** *** *** *** Entrance to the small lagoon *** *** The big lagoon *** *** Zimisu Beach *** *** *** *** *** *** N.B. Shall post the photos in & commando when I get to copy them  from my cousin's memory card.. :) So long...

Figures and Faces of Karsts in Palawan

Image
This is a peacock in my eyes! *** Karsts do not only astound us, they also spark our imagination as we traverse the high seas of Palawan... Check out the photo below if you can at least agree on one of my figure interpretation....  Just sharing you my travel joy... This is the Helicopter Island. On the left is the tail and on the right is the face  and the protruding part is the propeller. See, see? *** This looks like a turtle to me. The not-shy head is on the right and the shell is the bigger portion!  You get what I mean?  ***  A sleeping dog. This must be snoopy. On the left is the folded leg, then the body with long ears, then the eyes and brown nose and another contour for the ears. Got it? *** This is a mushroom. And we have no problem with that, do we? *** Two skeleton devils or two dinosaur fossils.  Whichever you see, they are not pretty for sure. *** My mother enjoy...
