Here is my nephew munching his sugarcane stick and the remnant of his chewed and juiceless portions.... Munching tubo is a happy childhood activity which is great to be revisited from time to time by a "batang negros."

Panaad sa Negros, an annual showcase of agricultural produce and tourism of every municipality and city in Negros Occidental, still runs until April 14. One can find booths filled with fruits, crops and pasalubong as well as plants, arts and crafts. Aside from that, there are different activities slated each night in the Paglaum Stadium. Uy             Found at about thirty (30) kilometres from the heart of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental,  Mag-aso falls is a real find for all-week-long-city-beaten picnickers.             Once you take the first small step going down the falls, you will go through at least six hundred steps.
