Brave four bridges to enjoy three falls of Bucari, Leon in Iloilo
After doing the trek on the campsite and the deck where the Pine Trees of Bucari abound, we went to see the falls. We did not expect to pass by many makeshift four bridges before reaching the Combong Falls and Imoy Falls plus the farthest Nabuduwan Falls. The falls are part of the tourism offering of Bucari aside from the campsite and the viewing deck. The location of the falls is about two kilometers before reaching the campsite. The roads widening and construction is underway last October 2018 when we got there and must be ready by next year. At any rate, it was fun to have my friends car pass by a small creek like those in the movies and adverts before reaching the barangay hall where we registered our names and proceeded to trek going to the falls accompanied by a guide.
Bridge 1. This is the first bridge we just pass by. It is headed to a different direction and used by the residents to go to their farms and do their trades on the other side. Officially, we just crossed the bridge halfway just to have our photos taken.
Bridge 2. This is the second bridge we passed by. We had the batch of people going our way pass by first before we stepped on the bridge since the the bridge is made of old slabs of wood and some rusty wires and can cater one person at a time. On the right side of the photo, the third bridge awaits.
Bridge 3. I can already hear the gushing of waters at this point, and I can feel the cool breeze of the greeneries around me. Nature already calls forth to be felt. This is the third bridge and Imoy Falls is already welcoming me and my friends.
Fourth Bridge. This is the last bridge we crossed. Still old and rugged and rickety, this bridge is used by children who go to school located on the other side of the bridge, and it is maintained in part by the PTA of the school. We passed by the school before reaching Combong Falls.
Here we are at last! This is the Combong Falls. We were greeted by the robust rush of waters and cool air. We sat on the edge of the rock, listened to the rushing waters and watched tourists and residents dive and swim. It is worth the trembles of our knees from the rocking of the bridges!
Here we are resting for a while.

Farther, at my back, the third falls called Nabuduwan is located. We content ourselves sitting on top of the big rocks and watch the rushing waters from afar. It was a fine day and I achieved 15,000 plus steps on that day as per my Samsung Health App. Hahaha!
