Stop over in Taytay, Palawan: A visit to Kutang Santa Isabel





Welcome to Taytay, Hollywood Style. We stopped by Taytay, Palawan and tasted the post-fiesta hospitability of our host family. We were treated with lots of seafoods and buko juice with shredded meat.

KUTANG SANTA ISABEL. Unang Ipinatayo na yari sa kahoy ng mga misyonaryong rekoleto 1667 himpilan ng kampanyang pangkapayapaan ng mga Kastila sa Paragua (Palawan). Sa pagsusumikap ni Gob. Fernando Manuel de Bustillo muling ipinatayo na yari sa bato at may apat na tanggulan na nagpaparangal kina Santo Toribio, San Miguel, San Juan at Santa Isabel noong unang sangkapat ng 1800. Pinangisawaan ni Don Fernando Velez de Arce at natapos noong kalagitnaan ng dantaon ding iyon. Ang kutang ito ay nagsilbing matibay na muog na nagmamatyag sa mga sasakyang pandagat na pangkalakal at sumasalakay na mga tulisang dagat.
