Shoutout to "Ang Huling El Bimbo" musical stage play

Though it streamed for free last May 8 and 9, I wanted to belatedly send my accolades to the people behind the "Ang Huling El Bimbo" through this blog. Hats off. It was really amazing to know that the stage production which ended last August 2019 reached a total of sold-out 115 runs. The set and the period costume is admirable, the case is vibrant, the musical arrangement is interesting and the story is too melodramatic yet the story is presented just enough to make us suspended in our seats and give an all-out cry in the end. Past and present, old self and new self, old songs and new beats merge in the poignant story.

The free streaming was brought in cooperation with Abs-cbn foundation as part of the fundraising to feed families affected by COVID-19. The fundraising was called Pantawid ng Pag-ibig.

These are the scenes that I was able to capture albeit late in the streaming already.  And also, I really look forward to the Annie Batungbakal production and wish to see it live after this pandemic ends. :) :)
