Beef with Cucumbers in Bulgogi Sauce

Bulgogi sauce is really a home favorite because it is sweet, as opposed to spicy chili-based ones which divides the house. This surprising dish made its appearance on our table when I used our homegrown cucumber.
Cucumbers are often added to spicy dishes to cool down or temper the heat element of the dish. But it sure tasted great in the bulgogi sauce. Another kitchen uncovery!!!

Sesame oil
Minced Onions and garlic
Beef tapa or sukiyaki cut
Bulgogi sauce
Broth or water
Cucumber, cut lengthwise
Sesame seeds to garnish

Saute garlic and onions quickly and add beef. Stirfry for 2 minutes and add sauce and broth. Cook covered for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time. Add cucumbers and let cook for 3 minutes. Remove from fire. Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve hot over rice.
