Fascinating Tianjin, China

My travel buddy and our pink rabbit ears are enjoying the Little Italy of Tianjin, China!!!
Tianjin, China will always be remembered with fondness for the places and faces we saw there! From the cultural sites and the first slow Ferris Wheel ride, it will always be in my heart. During our 2012 trip, at the bullet train from Beijing to Tianjin, we met two university girls and a man who we later knew through his calling card as Jiao. With kindness, Jiao led us to our hotel by offering to join him in his taxi going home as our hotel, he checked on his mobile phone, is just along his way. It was a great relief considering we arrived there at 8:30PM and the number of people hailing taxis.
As if one blessing is not enough, another unexpected kindness befell us when a young lad named Steve offered to walk around with us on our second and last day in Tianjin. We were able to see the China House, the old catholic church known as Our Lady of Victory Church, St. Joseph Church, the oldest Buddhist Temple near the Tianjin Eye and the Italian Village. He also brought us to the airport-like train terminal of Tianjin. We had a great time because of their kindness that warmed us, and despite the fact that it was our first cold winter experience...
